2015monthly shelter dinners
Feeding our community
MMY served dinner at local shelters on the last Saturday of almost every month, and provided lunch every day of Ramadan to two shelters, including a domestic violence shelter.
Our first year
MMY was founded in February 2015 after the killing of Deah, Yusor, and Razan in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and incorporated in Tennessee in July 2015. In its first year, youth volunteers cooked and served meals, collected food, supported refugees, and helped the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro.

The love and care the MMY has shown our community changed my views on Islam and Muslims. Thank you!
This great group shows me through their deeds and actions that they truly care about Murfreesboro and especially the homeless whom so many seem to have forgotten. They are true community youth leaders!
MMY is an inspiring group. Their community service to help those most in need is an example for all.
