2016 annual report

In 2016, MMY grew beyond expectations and established its name as a trusted Islamic organization in Murfreesboro. It delivered more supplies, aid, and meals than anticipated, and managed a local effort welcoming Syrian refugee families.

Refugee welcome

Through Middle Tennessee Refugee Help (Home Away from Home), MMY helped 38+ families, delivered 50+ washers and dryers, helped with 30+ driver's licenses, and made 200+ visits.

Love Your Neighbor

Three potluck picnics attracted hundreds of neighbors of every faith and background.

A Seat at the Table

Seven events with the Faith and Culture Center brought more than 70 people to the table.

$1,300+raised for other charities

Fast-a-Thon

Muslims and non-Muslims fasted and broke the fast together, raising over $1,300 for other charities.
