MIST
Coaching and support for Murfreesboro middle and high school students competing in the Muslim Interscholastic Tournament.
42students competed in 2025
The Muslim Interscholastic Tournament (MIST) is a national stage where students compete in the arts, knowledge, speech, and sports.
MMY sends our middle and high school youth prepared, with coaching, practice sessions, logistics, and a team that travels with them.
What we do
MMY has hosted the Murfreesboro team since 2018, providing coaching, resources, and support for MIST Nashville and beyond. Our team competes as the Murfreesboro Muslim Youth Raiders. Students choose events that fit their strengths, from knowledge and writing to the arts, public speaking, and sports.
Preparing for MIST builds teamwork, confidence, and leadership, and many of our students go on to lead MMY events.
